Incident Report

A good friend of mine is a volunteer firefighter/EMT with Fairfax County Fire & Rescue. He was kind enough to print out a copy of my incident report, which I have conveniently converted to HTML for your edification...and posterity.

The larger (black) words are text from the actual incident report. The smaller (blue) words are George's explanation of the sometimes cryptic report language. If you're using Netscape, all the words will be the same size but they'll be different colors.

There were addresses and phone numbers in the report (from the people that called 911) which I have removed to preserve their privacy.

As you can see, the FCF&R is fast. It took them less than 3 minutes to get from their station to me. They worked on me at the scene for about 20 minutes, making sure I was immobilized and my leg was splinted. It took just over 2 minutes to get me from the scene to Fairfax Hospital.
